This is a lady who was selling breakfast burritos on a main road near Florence, AZ. This is the original image I took.

Here is the edited version below. I straightened the image, increased exposure on her face and arms, and increased the saturation just a little bit. I also cropped in just a bit so she was centered in the frame.

Next up- this seating area was in front of a cafe in Downtown, Florence. I thought this set up was so cute. I knew if I isolated the image it would look great. Like a picture you’d hang up in a kitchen. At least I think so! It’s going in mine.. 🙂 This was the original.

For these edits, I increased the overall exposure to make it brighter. I increased the overall saturation. I used the perspective move tool to straighten the sides of the image. I cropped in on both sides and I also added lights where the Sweet Cream Sign is. I think that made a big difference! Taking an existing scene and making it into art is one of my favorite things to do. Things look different in images when they are isolated.

And..for the final one. It was over 100 degrees and I stalked this lady with the umbrella. Haha. No- really. I did not stalk her, but I did walk behind her a ways so I could take her picture. She was taking a picture of something?

And now for the edits. This is not an award winner, but I’m learning how to blend/merge images. It is so much fun. I call this one- Lady Between Two Worlds. I actually merged the above image with a scenic landscape I took of this place near Dewey, AZ.

I will continue to make these types of posts. It’s motivating for me and I love to share what I know. I hope you can draw inspiration from this content today!
